Abstract

This article aims to analyze the way by literature is consumed and produced by descendants of Italian settlers in Rio Grande do Sul state (Brazil). In addition, we analyze how this process has influenced identity processes and the construction of memory. These writtings are part of a resistance process in which they try to narrate themselves, their historicities and discourses about their existences.
